Basic function

The signal conversion that the N402P board performs varies depending on the modes of port 1 and port 2. Details are as follows:

  • When both port 1 and port 2 are set to 100G mode, the board performs mutual conversion between ODUk signals with the total bandwidth not exceeding 200 Gbit/s and two channels of OTU4 signals.
  • When one port is set to 100G mode and the other port is set to 200G mode, the board performs mutual conversion between ODUk signals with the total bandwidth not exceeding 300 Gbit/s and one OTU4 signal plus one OTUC2 signal.
  • When both port 1 and port 2 are set to 200G mode, the board performs mutual conversion between ODUk signals with the total bandwidth not exceeding 400 Gbit/s and two channels of OTUC2 signals.
  • When port 1 is set to 400G mode, the board performs mutual conversion between ODUk signals with the total bandwidth not exceeding 400 Gbit/s and one OTUC4 signal.
Cross-connect capabilities
  • Supports service grooming with cross-connect boards. The service granularities are the sum of granularities supported by port 1 and port 2.
