This Universal Media Gateway (UMG) helps migrate your GSM-R services from TDM to all-IP communications, reducing your overall costs and protecting your technology investments going forward.

The UMG works with Huawei’s Mobile Switching Center (MSC) server and other devices to support a variety of basic, supplementary, and value-added mobile services on a traditional GSM-R network. In addition to these services, the simplified network structure supports video networking and signaling link gateways as well as enabling fast and flexible introduction of new services.
